Can you work with HIPAA and GDPR requirements?
Yes. We scope technical and process controls with your compliance, security, and legal stakeholders for each engagement. When PHI is in scope we work under HIPAA-aligned controls and BAA arrangements as required by your counsel and the delivery design. Confirm BAA needs before any PHI is shared. GDPR and regional data-location rules are mapped in the architecture before go-live when your policy requires it.
Do you integrate with existing EHR/EMR systems, including HL7 or FHIR?
Yes. We build integrations and custom layers around clinical systems you already run when a rip-and-replace is not the right move. Where the engagement requires interchange, we design for HL7 and FHIR so records and workflows stay portable. You own your clinical data; we design for export and standard interchange rather than a proprietary dead end.
Who owns patient data, and what happens at contract end?
You own your patient and clinical data. On termination we follow the contract: return or delete project data in scope, including backups where technically feasible, within an agreed window. Retention required by law or your written instruction is documented separately.
If AI is in a clinical workflow, who is liable, and can clinicians override it?
Liability is allocated in the contract. We do not position Areusdev as a clinical decision maker. We prefer architectures clinicians can inspect and override. Recommendations are tools for staff, not silent automation over care decisions, unless you explicitly commission a different regulated product path with the right clearances. Do you support medtech and research, not only hospitals?
Yes. We work with providers, medtech and digital health product teams, and research organizations, including AI and robotics-related software where it fits. How is Areusdev different from staff augmentation or a black-box AI vendor?
Areusdev is an engineering partner that builds and integrates systems under your governance. We are not a black-box model product and not a pure body-shop. Delivery is nearshore from Romania, with US and Bulgaria presence, with compliance-aware architecture, validation support, and optional long-term partnership after go-live. Ask who owns the runtime, where PHI lives, whether your data trains shared models, and what happens at contract end. Our default: client data is not used to train shared models without a written agreement.
